Although I love to wear dresses, the reason I started making them came from a totally different place. When my kids were small, a dress helped me express all the emotions and musings that childhood and (small) children evoked in me. The paper dresses (that are actually 3d dresses framed in a 3d frame), are the dresses I made during that period in my life. 

Every dress is unique, in the way it's been treated. Some are treated with (real dried) leaves, others are embroidered or worked on with (lino) prints.

The dresses on canvas are an evolution of the way I use the materials. They're a combination of ink on paper, collaged and painted with acrylics.
